Update on the PSC's Response to the COVID-19 Outbreak

Mon, 03/23/2020

The Public Service Commission's first priority is the safety of the utility users of South Carolina, and just as paramount is ensuring their access to dependable and affordable utility services. To that end, even when events outside our control affect the state, we continually strategize to plan ahead and address issues as they arise. This includes the recent outbreak of the coronavirus that the World Health Organization terms COVID-19 and the attendant state of emergency declared by Governor Henry McMaster.

SC Utility Consumer has published the PSC's intended strategy during this state of emergency; you can read that at this link
