PSC Seeking Public Comments in Docket No. 2021-321-T

The Public Service Commission of South Carolina is seeking public comments in Docket No. 2021-321-T (Generic Docket to Study the Office of Regulatory Staff's September 24, 2021 Proposal and Information Necessary in Audit Reports or Impact Statements Concerning Such Class E Licensees). 

On September 29, 2021, the Public Service Commission, during its regularly scheduled Commission Business Meeting, issued a Directive stating in part:


It is noted that the letter dated September 24, 2021 from the Office of Regulatory Staff (ORS) stated that ORS intends to discontinue the use or reference to the South Carolina Tariff Bureau Rates as part of the ORS Impact Study concerning certification Class E household goods movers. I move that the Commission direct the Clerk to open a generic docket to study or review the proposal by ORS and the information necessary in audit reports or impact statements concerning such Class E licensees.

Any person who wishes to file Comments in accordance with the Commission’s September 29, 2021 Directive, must do so on or before Thursday, January 27, 2022, by filing the Comments with the Commission, and providing a copy to the Office of Regulatory Staff; and by providing a copy to all Parties of Record.
