The Public Service Commission has scheduled an in-person and/or virtual customer public hearing on April 7th, 2026, in Docket No. 2025-323-E, which involves a joint application filed by South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper) and Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc. for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Convenience and Necessity for the construction and operation of an advanced class combined cycle generating plant and associated facilities in Colleton County, South Carolina.
The Public Service Commission has scheduled a second date in this customer public hearing, which will now take place on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at 4 p.m. and at 7 p.m. at the PSC's Hearing Room at 101 Executive Center Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. This hearing will be in-person and virtual, meaning anyone interested in testifying can do so either by attending the hearing in-person or by testifying over the phone.
Please note that this is in addition to the previously scheduled customer public hearing date of Monday, March 23rd, 2026, which will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Walterboro Wildlife Center (100 South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro, SC 29488). Members of the public can only testify at one of these hearing dates.
